Dress Code
-
​Students are required to wear appropriate shoes and attire to all lessons.​
- ​​Combo Classes
- Ballet/Tap/Gym: Dancers are to wear a leotard and tights, pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes.​
- Ballet/Tap/Jazz: Dancers are to wear a leotard and tights, pink ballet slippers and black tap shoes. Jazz shoes are not required.​

A black leotard and pink tights is preferred.​

Tiny Dancers: Leotard and tights with pink ballet slippers. No tap shoes.

Modern: Solid color leotard, tights, bare feet

Tap: Solid color leotard, tights, black tap shoes, jazz pants may be worn over leotard

Ballet/Lyrical: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes

Jazz: Solid color leotard, tights, black jazz shoes, jazz pants may be worn over leotard

Hip-Hop: Fitted work out clothes and clean sneakers

Acro Dance: Leotard/fitted tank top and fitted pants/leggings/fitted shorts. Hair must be neatly pulled back

No gum chewing. All dancers must wear their hair neatly in a bun or ponytail.

Outdoor Classes: Please wear sneakers.

Dancers should bring a water bottle, face mask, and some classes will be asked to bring a yoga mat.

Performance Information:

JDA will host a winter showcase at the end of fall session which is tentatively scheduled for 12/9 at Gratz College. There will be 2 performances. Each class has been tentatively assigned a show time. The assigned show is listed in the description for each class. Tickets are required for all audience members. Tickets are not required for dancers.

Dancers participating in the performance are required to purchase perfromance attire ($35)

Attendance

​Regular attendance to your dance class is strongly recommended. Make-up Classes are available as a courtesy for dancers. Reservations are required for all make-up classes.
